The Color Run - August 17th

I AM SO IN!! Although I already have a team, I would encourage everyone to join in on the fun. It will be my first 5k and after shedding 60lbs I feel like I can get it done!

Wow! That's AWESOME Alissa!!! Congrats! I don't know if you downloaded a training program, but I used the C25k app (it's free) the first time I trained for a 5k!

I've heard about CouchTo5k--have you done it? I didn't realize it was free; that's excellent!

Yes I have! It was a great training tool for me. I loved that I could listen to my music at the same time (and control it right from the bottom of the app). I also loved that there were settings so when you changed from walk to run, you didnt have to be "watching the clock". You could just get in the zone and then hear the "ding - start running/walking" and know it was time to switch. I am currently using the 13.1 app now (from the same company)... but I had to pay for this one. The C25K and the 10K apps are free tho!
